BlackSoil appoints Somaira Khan as Senior Vice President - HR

BlackSoil, an alternative investment platform, on Thursday announced the appointment of Somaira Khan as Senior Vice President - Human Resources.

Khan comes with 15 years of HR experience. Previously, she worked at Emirates National Bank of Dubai, Avista Advisory, True North and Michael Page.

BlackSoil has also appointed Aditya Sarda and Vaibhav Nigam as Senior Vice Presidents - Investments. Additionally, Prashant Pulipaka and Nikhil Hegde have joined the company in the roles of Senior Vice Presidents - Fundraising.

These appointments are aimed at enhancing investment, fundraising and human resources functions, aligning with the company's growth strategy, according to a statement.

Sarda comes with 19 years of investment and strategy experience. Previously, he worked at 10 Club, Yes Bank and Citigroup.

Nigam has 18 years of experience and has served in senior positions at Alternative Asset Groups at Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank and Yes Bank.

Pulipaka brings over 20 years of experience in Investor Relations and Fundraising, having previously held senior posts at Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors, Pavestone VC and IDFC Alternatives.

Hegde comes with 15 years of experience, including roles as True Beacon's Business Development Head in the GCC region and India, and CEO of Small Bus Hospitality.
