US-based TIAA (Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America) has appointed Renu Vijayanand as Senior Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer for India.

“Excited to share about my new position as Senior Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer India at TIAA,” Vijayanand shared in a LinkedIn post.

Prior to this appointment, Vijayanand was associated with MUFG as Global Co-Head, Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs). Previously, she worked at Australia & New Zealand Banking Group, Credit Agricole CIB, Lehman Brothers, Capgemini, Tech Pacific India and Larsen & Toubro.

Vijayanand has done a Post-Graduate Programme in Management (MBA) from IIM Ahmedabad.
